Safe Hands

Safe Hands is the ECB policy for safeguarding children within cricket. It is endoresed by the NSPCC. The main use for the Safe Hands manual is for county & club welfare officers. It will allow them to help guide there clubs committees in planning, priortising and implementiing the various safeguarding activities that are necessary to protect the children and volunteers at their clubs. The ECB hope that the manual will be of interest to parents, coaches, officials and volunteers, to enable everyone in cricket to play their part in safegaurding at all level within cricket. The manual offers pratical guidence for those involved in providing cricket activities for children.
