Please find attached Umpire Appointments for the 2012 Seaon. We have this season managed to appoint to 9 matches in the Division Two League and hopefully with an active recruitment and retention policy being developed we can improve this in years to come.Umpire appointments are made by a committee of three under the control of the Performance Officer, and use the following criteria:

Grounds Assessment Scheme 2012
|
The Isle of Wight Cricket Board are continuing with a pitch assessment scheme for the 2012 season.
The schem will only be undertaken in Division 1 of the Island leagues and all representative fixtures.
The scheme will make up one aspect of the Boards on going facility development plan, and hopefull will allow clubs to improve playing surfaces in the long run.
