Grounds Assessment Scheme

As you will be aware the Isle of Wight Cricket Board are introducing a pitch assessment scheme for the 2010 season. For the first season this will only be undertaken in Division 1 of the Island leagues and home county fixtures. The scheme will make up one aspect of the Boards on going facility development plan, and hopefull will allow clubs to improve playing surfaces in the long run. You will find assessment forms on this page and details of where to send completed form back too. Each umpire will be ask to grade the pitch against four criteria and to offer any other relevant comments.
