IWCB Senior XI take on Hampshire XI

Hampshire cricketer, David Griffiths, will be returning to old haunts when he appears in the county’s second XI for an attractive fixture against the Island senior side next week.
Seamer Griffiths began his career at Shanklin, where the match takes place. The Hampshire side is also likely to include a number of players with extensive first-team experience, including James Adams, Chris Benham and Hamza Riazuddin.
The Island side will be chosen from: Dan Bishop, Simon Goldsmith, Steve Allwood, Neil Westhorpe, Mark Fletcher, Rob Lammiman, Mark Holmes, Tom Friend, Matt Burford, Jamie Miller, Danny Briggs, Lawrence Tolfrey, Mark Allen, James Lucy, Lee Brown, Rob Snell and Tomy Dye.
The match takes place on Thursday (July 17) at Westhill, starting at 11.30am.
