MCC Spirit of Cricket Under 13 Cup

Ventnor Under 13's will represent the Island in the Area Finals of the MCC Spirit of Cricket Under 13 Cup after beating Shanklin Under 13's by 9 wickets. Batting first Shanklin scored 90 for 8 off their 20 overs with Jamie Downer top scoring with 22. Pick of the Ventnor bowlers was Matthew Domingez who took 3 wickets in 4 four balls and finished with 3 for 8 off his 4 overs. Leo Nutter retired with 30 and Ollie Thompson was not out 19 as Ventnor reached the required total with 4 overs to spare. Ventnor will now meet the winners of the Hampshire District final for a place in the regional finals.
