Multi Sport Leaders and Assistants Required

We are looking to set-up Multi-Sport Clubs across the Island for young people aged between 8 to 13. The clubs will aim to increase participation in sport, whilst also giving young people the opportunity to participate in a range of different activities on a regular basis. The clubs will run for two hours on Sunday mornings (approximately 10am to 12pm) during term-time only. The initial pilot will take place at Ryde Sports Centre, utilising the small sportshall, MUGA and outdoor facilities (sports could include – table tennis, basketball, football, tennis, netball, cricket, hockey, athletics, multi-skills etc). We are currently looking for leaders and assistants to deliver the activity. Leaders will be required to plan and deliver a range of activities and will be responsible for the health and safety of the participants at all times. Leaders will be qualified at a minimum of Level 2 in at least one sport. Leaders will be paid at an agreed rate between £15 - £20 p/h. Assistants will be required to deliver and assist in the delivery of all activities. Assistants will be qualified at a minimum of Level 1 in at least one sport. Assistants will be paid at an agreed rate between £7.50 - £10 p/h.
