Open Isle Of Wight Cricket Board Meeting

The Isle Of Wight Cricket Board are holding an open meeting on the 19th March at Newclose CCG. 7 for 7.30pm start, coffee and tea will be avialable. The meeting will be used to present the IWCB ten key development areas for the up coming year. Which are: - 1. A clear understanding & acceptance of roles & responsibilities within the Board and its constitutional bodies. 2. Understanding of the IWCB strategic direction at all levels of the Isle of Wight Cricket Board. 3. Proactive budgeting by the IWCB constitutional committees. 4. The implementation of the IWCB facilities strategy. 5. Improvement of the School to Club link. 6. Celebrating & recognising success at all levels of the game on the Island. 7. Strengthening the IWCB working relationships with external organisations. e.g. The Hampshire & IOW County Sports Partnership (CSP), School Sports Partnership (SSP) and the Council. 8. Development of a Women’s & Girls Cricket structure, producing a complete pathway for players and competitions. 9. The filling of all the positions within the organisation by different individuals. 10. A process for recruitment, retention and training opportunities for coaches/umpires/groundsman. |
