Under 15 Girls defeated in first game of 2010

Despite good contributions from Lucy Blake (27 and 2 for 33) and Caitlin Heelan ( 2 for 32) the Under 15 Girls were defeated by 84 runs at a very cold, dull and windy Northwood Cricket Club on Sunday against Buckinghamshire Under 15s.
After winning the toss the girls' bowled and fielded well restricting the visitors to 171 for 7 off of their 35 overs.
The batting did not start well losing 3 early wickets eventually ending on 87 all out in the 25th over.
There were some good positives from the game and hopefully we can carry it on through the season.
