Under 15 Girls finish 3rd in 8 a side tournament

The Under 15 Girls, led by Captain Alex Barton finished 3rd overall in the 8 a side tournament held at Beaconsfield Cricket Club in Buckinghamshire.
Victories against the hosts Buckinghamshire and Suffolk ensured 3rd spot.
The girls who played were Alex Barton, Ellen Whitcutt, Lucy Blake, Phillipa Rock, Beth Dyer, Alice Hilton, Ellie Furmidge, Emily Salter and Sophie Goldsmith.
Also during the day the girls enjoyed a one hour coaching session with England and Kent cricketer Lydia Greenway.
At the presentations Alex Barton was presented with the Umpires award for her general play, commitment and encouragement during the day. |
