Ventnor win the Island Webservices Senior Cup

Ventnor won the Island Webservices Isle of Wight Senior Cup Final for 2008 when they defeated Ryde by 6 wickets. Winning the toss Ventnor put Ryde into bat on a damp pitch and their bowlers quickly made in roads into the Ryde batting line up and they were all out for a disappointing 96. Ventnor''s strong batting line up stated briskly but some good spin bowling took 4 Ventnor wickets but the Southern Premier League side were also in control and ran out comfotable winners.
