Island Free School Guaranteed Two Titles

The school indoor cricket season has reached the final stages with the finalist all sorted for three of the competitions.
The Lady Taveners Girls U13 and U15 competitions have been dominated by The Island Free School as both finals see their A team take on their B teams in the finals on the 20th March. All the teams won through with out losing a game showing some great batting and scoring over 100 runs in each game. The winners of each final will go onto represent the Island at the regional final at the Ageas Bowl on the 17th & 18th April.
The U13 Free School boys team matched their female counterparts by winning through to the final by beating Medina College and Cowes Enterprise. The other half of the draw saw Ryde Academy beat Cowes Enterprise and Sandown Academy to reach the final. The final will take place before Easter.
The U12 boys league sees four teams in with a chance to take the title as Sandown Academy, Christ the King College, Ryde Academy and Cowes Enterprise have all lost one game so far. Sandown Academy top the table with 3 wins from their four games but the other three schools still have two games a piece to play, teams will be decided by head to head results.
